Well, here we are again! Closed in 2008, the AstaBGay website has
been resurrected in the hope it will assist any local gay business
owners who may be struggling to repaint their yachts in these hard
times. The price of marine paint has gone through the roof, never
mind what the chickens are charging for some brushwork today!
Now cut down to only a
few informative pages, the AstaBGay website can never re-attain
the dizzy heights it once knew (2001 - 2008) when it consisted of
many sections and well in excess of a 100 pages (where at one
point a million hits a week weren't unknown), but I hope it will
still go someway to being of benefit to our poor yachtsmen and
women. Simply keeping the domain parked seemed so silly when it
could be doing something.
The listings will, as
before, be kept as up to date as I can manage - it's not possible
for me to visit every club, pub and hotel etc on a daily or even a
weekly basis, so please do inform me if you find any errors.
Unlike in 2001 when
AstaBGay first included Blackpool, the resort now has a whole host
of excellent gay websites. So if you require more in-depth
material than the information given with the listings on
here, you might want to check out another Blackpool Gay Scene
website:

AstaBGay is a
non-profit-making concern - advertising is free, but I have to
like what is on offer before an advert appears on this website.
